Happy Fourth!

We reside in a "dual" home.  The man of the house is British, the woman is American.  So we get to celebrate the holidays of both countries!  (Means lots of extra treats!)
Wishing all our American friends a happy and safe Fourth of July!
God Bless America!

busy day....

Big doings here at the house.  New furnace going in.  Lots of people in and out.  Even more disturbing is the number of flys buzzing about.  We'll be busy trying to catch them.  Check back and see how we do...

The dog days of summer.......

Whew - it is HOT out there!  Taking it easy, walking very early in the morning, and sleeping in air conditioned rooms.  Stay cool, people!

God Bless our Veterans!

We hope everyone will remember what Memorial Day is for, and that they will take a moment to remember all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we can continue to live in freedom.
Thank you to all the brave men and women of our armed forces, and to the families and friends who love and support them.  We are so grateful! Woof!

Watching the Royal Wedding.....

Waiting for the Royal festivities!  Will be rising before 5am in order to get a good seat on the couch for optimum viewing.

Bentley was too afraid of the pillow to have his picture taken with it.  As you can see, I am afraid of nothing!

God Save the Queen....

So here we are......

We are pacing ourselves this afternoon.  Bit of a rough morning.  Had a brief walk with The Mom and thought we were all set for the day.  But then The Dad directed Bentley to the back door and before he knew what was happening, he was on his way to the VET for a check-up.  Didn't see that one coming!
There was some crying, but that was mainly for sympathy and treats!
Bentley returned qucikly, relieved to be home.  So we are happy to be reunited, buddies to the core.
Have a good day!
